If you didn't really know what to say or it was something you had to think about that's ok. Most people don't like themselves and this is something I wanted to address because I work with kids. I have been asking the kids what they like about themselves and none of them knew what was great about themselves. One month later they are saying things like, "I like my eye color!" or "I like my new haircut!"This is the response I had been looking for. I have discovered that most adults like to joke about their so called insecurites. They make jokes about themselves not being handsome or pretty. The ones who hear this is our kids and this how they grow up. Critizizing themselves. You are not bad parents! You just need to be nicer to yourselves. Not just in front of your kids but always.
